Dayang Blues (Pulau Dayang) Print E-mail
User Rating: / 1
PoorBest

The resort is built on the edge of the beach facing Dayang Channel, the resort is a mix of chalets and rooms capable of handling up to 300 people.  The resort offers very basic facilities; but as the daily schedule is 4 dives, with activities on the beach there isn’t much time to appreciate the lack of amenities too much.

Standard rooms are quad sharing, but can be converted to twin sharing if needed; not all the rooms have air conditioning.  Or there are the dormitory style, either 6 or 12 sharing a room.  All the bathrooms are in a common shower block behind the accommodation, with about 20 units available.  The beach is soft white sand, and runs the full length of the resort, a great place to relax between dives.

Meals are usually served in open air, in buffet style as is the Saturday night BBQ.

Pulau Aur & Dayang have a huge number of near by dive sites (See ‘Dive Sites’), and as such most divers visiting the resort are more focused on intensive diving; usually 3 day dives and 1 night dive (on Saturday) and 2 dives on Sunday morning.
